OSPA’s Autism Task Force has produced an invaluable resource for the educational identification of autism. In this webinar, the authors will answer questions and provide guidance on the use of the guide. The intent of this technical assistance paper is to provide non-regulatory guidance for early childhood and school-based professionals in conducting comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations and eligibility determination within Ohio. This guidance promotes clear and consistent practices through the use of evidence-based approaches for comprehensive educational evaluations emphasizing the use of research to inform the selection of assessment tools and processes for the benefit of all learners.
In this one-hour session, Guide authors will discuss how to best use the guide as a school psychologist, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, special education teacher, or other related service provider. We encourage you to share this session with your colleagues.
