As your advocate in the Statehouse, OSPA has created this page to arm you with the tools to advocate for your profession and the children you serve in a variety of ways. We also welcome you to join the Advocacy Committee to keep abreast of our work.
When engaging in advocacy, you have a number of options for contacting elected officials. You may:
- Call a lawmaker's office and talk to their staff or request a conversation with the legislator.
- Schedule an in-person or virtual meeting with your elected official.
- Present oral testimony before a committee.
- Submit written testimony to a committee.
