Single Document CE Tracking
This service is free to members and $25 for non-OSPA Members. Register for this service and pay via credit card if applicable.
**DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS TRACKING IF YOU ALSO HOLD A ISP LICENSE. All ISP licensees need to register for 2-Year CE Tracking only**
This plan is designed for LSP licensees who can demonstrate CE compliance with an active NCSP credential or by working with a supervisor to sign-off on professional development activities. If you hold an active 2-year Independent School Psychologist License or are a permanent certificate holder, you SHOULD NOT enroll in LSP CE tracking with OSPA; you will be able to renew your LSP license directly with State Board of Psychology at the end of each quinquennium.
If using supervisor approval, please use the following form: Supervisor Compliance Report Your compliance report must indicate that you completed ALL 50 hours (at a minimum) of required CE including 4 hours in ethics/cultural competency and signed by a supervisor as well as yourself prior to upload.
Click HERE for detail on how to upload your document.
The term "supervisor" is intentionally vague to allow for approval by anyone to whom an LSP reports. Examples of supervisors who can sign off on your CE document include but are not limited to:
- Another School Psychologist who supervises you
- Special Education Director
- Principal
- Superintendent
- Individual who completes your employment evaluations

Details Specific to Full-Service CE Tracking
- Any Course provided by OSPA, APA, OPA, NASP, and OSPA Pre-Approved Providers are automatically approved by OSPA. All you need to do is upload your certificate of completion for the course to be added to your transcript.
- All Other (Non-Approved) Courses: Submissions for these courses must include the certificate of attendance as well as promotional materials that show speaker credentials and learning objectives. To avoid delays in getting course approval please be certain to attach all necessary documentation for each submission. The Ohio psychology law and rules require that such coursework must be relevant to school psychology, at the graduate level, and taught by instructors with appropriate degrees and credentials to teach a graduate course.
- Credit will be given for activities such as taking a graduate course (face to face hours), teaching a graduate course (face to face hours), writing a published article/chapter (5 to 10 CE) and writing a book (10 – 20 CE). Credit is only given once for teaching a course or conducting a workshop. Writings must be published in the quinquennium. For books, articles and chapters, use the date it was published or accepted for publishing.
- Online Courses may be used to satisfy all 50 hours of continuing education required, provided that 4 hours of the 50 meet the requirements of ORC 4732.141 (professional conduct, ethics and the role of culture, ethnic identity, etc…) of continuing education required in Ohio.
- Once you have reached the required number of hours, you will receive a letter and transcript via email confirming your completion. OSPA will also notify the Ohio State Board of Psychology of this achievement.
