Risk Management in Educational Settings: Current Updates to Threat Assessment & Expulsion Practices

The Ohio School Psychologists Association

"Putting Pieces Together For Ohio Students"

LIVE Webinar: School Psychologist License Transition: Your Questions Answered

  • webinar

This webinar will be held live 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8.

On Jan. 1, 2025, all school psychologists who were licensed by the State Board of Education had their license oversight transferred to the State Board of Psychology. The move has resulted in a number of changes for how school psychologists obtain and renew their licenses and maintain and report continuing education.

OSPA has been at the table throughout the leadup and execution of this and is here to answer your questions.

All licenses expire Sept. 30 (no exceptions!) and new CE requirements begin Sept. 1. Attend this webinar to be ready for what’s coming.

Presenter:

Rachel Chilton, OSPA Executive Director

Rachel Chilton has served as the OSPA Executive Director since 2022. She engages in legislative advocacy on behalf of school psychologists statewide. She worked to prevent passage of the legislation causing the license move. Following its passage, she worked with the State Board of Psychology throughout the administrative rulemaking process to ensure a smooth transition and the least burdensome process for school psychologists.

This is not a credit bearing course.

This online Professional Development module is FREE for members and non-members.
