Ohio requires school psychologists to complete the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce's Introduction to the Science of Reading course by June 30, 2027, and then complete a refresher course every five years.
It is up to your employer to approve the appropriate pathway. For instance, some have approved Pathway F for their School Psychology staff. Pathway F is listed as Ohio’s Introduction to the Science of Reading Course, Administrators K-12. However, this depends on what your district feels is best for you.

Unfortunately, even if you completed the training in previous years when it was required for teachers, you are not exempt from taking the course again.
