This webinar will be offered LIVE Tuesday, June 30, 9 - 10:30 am
In 2025, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce released the state’s Integrated Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (I-MTSS) framework. Historically, school psychologists have had a prominent role in their schools’ implementation of MTSS or Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks. This webinar will review ways in which the Ohio I-MTSS framework leverages and builds upon familiar components of MTSS, identify key roles for school psychologists within the updated model, and consider how school psychologists can be pivotal supports to their educator colleagues with less familiarity in MTSS terminology or implementation.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the Ohio I-MTSS framework as it relates to prior iterations of MTSS and RTI.
- Reflect upon how current practices align with Ohio’s I-MTSS expectations.
- Identify opportunities for school psychologists to support other educational personnel in developing their I-MTSS understanding and implementation
- Recognize common implementation barriers and opportunities for school psychologists’ role expansion within I-MTSS
