In Memoriam Dr. James Harvey — 1945 – 2026

Dr. James Edward Harvey (Jim) was born in Lewiston, Maine on Feb. 20, 1945, to Dr. John Edward and Alice Wilson Harvey. He died on Feb. 15, 2026, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, SC. Jim was a leader in school psychology, education, and social justice. His compassion, activism, and volunteerism for the betterment of school psychology, and most importantly, the lives of children are a guiding example for each of us.
