On Jan. 1, 2025, all school psychologists who were licensed by the State Board of Education had their license oversight transferred to the State Board of Psychology. The move has resulted in a number of changes for how school psychologists obtain and renew their licenses and maintain and report continuing education. As of Fall 2025, even more has changed.
OSPA has been at the table throughout the leadup and execution of this and is here to answer your questions.
New CE requirements began Sept. 1. Attend this webinar to ensure you are in compliance with the new law and rules.
Presenter:
Rachel Chilton, OSPA Executive Director
Rachel Chilton has served as the OSPA Executive Director since 2022. She engages in legislative advocacy on behalf of school psychologists statewide. She worked to prevent passage of the legislation causing the license move. Following its passage, she worked with the State Board of Psychology throughout the administrative rulemaking process to ensure a smooth transition and the least burdensome process for school psychologists.
