Cognitive Load Theory & Load Reduction Instruction: Implications for School Psychologists

In the course of our assessments, school psychologists often encounter students with memory deficits, either in their ability to retain or recall information. In fact, it is very rare that a student’s memory is not linked to their learning difficulties.
