Lifestyle interventions are modifications to sleep, exercise, diet, and other daily habits. These changes to activities of daily living are often recommended alongside conventional medication (or as risk-free precursors to more intensive interventions) to prevent and treat chronic illnesses (Taylor & Stanton, 2021). Unsurprisingly, lifestyle interventions can also be effective in improving academic, behavioral, and emotional outcomes.
