The Ohio School Psychologists Association joined a long list of state and national organizations in a statement condemning the U.S. Department of Education for ending support for students with disabilities. The statements calls for the administration and Congress to reverse layoffs and maintain access to key educational services.
Federal cuts have gutted offices like the Office of Special Education Programs, the Rehabilitation Services Administration, the Office for Civil Rights, and the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education.
