The NASP Annual Convention was Feb. 7-10 in Denver, Colo. The theme this year was Radical Hope and Authentic Healing. Immediately preceding the NASP Annual Convention, the Regional Leadership Meetings were held in Denver. RLM leaders from State Associations across the country gathered to collaborate and receive professional development. There was a specific focus on addressing the shortage of school psychologists during the RLM. For ideas for increasing the number of school psychologists, please visit the Shortage in School Psychology Resource Guide. The NASP Director of Policy and Advocacy recently appeared on C-SPAN’s Washington Monthly program where she discussed the role of schools in providing mental health support to students. You can watch her segment online.
