At the OSPA Fall Conference on Nov. 7 and 8, 2007 the Scholarship Raffle was conducted with great success. $3500 was collected and will be added to other scholarship monies designated by the executive board to the new account being established with the Columbus Foundation. A taskforce is working to complete procedural details in order that our first Ohio scholarship can be awarded at next year's Fall Conference, 2008.

I'd like to thank all of the folks who donated items to the raffle, and to those who gave generously to insure that we made our target. Last year's proceeds added to this year's proceeds amount to $7600. We can surely be proud of our generosity, and I look forward to the excitement of presenting the very first Ohio School Psychologist Association's Ohio Scholarship.
