2008 OSPA Election Results

During this year’s spring elections, OSPA members were electing President-Elect and Secretary, while members of three regions were also electing their regional representatives. In addition, following the general membership’s vote to approve the creation of a new (Treasurer-Elect) position, the new President appointed and the members approved the new Treasurer-Elect. Following is the result of this year’s election process:

President-elect: Linda Neiheiser
Secretary: Ronald Lott
Treasurer-elect: Michelle Hathorn

Regional representatives:
Cleveland: Dan Dean
Central: Jay Bahnsen
North-East: No candidate (This matter is being addressed by the Executive Board; more will be reported later).

As usual, the secretary will serve a one-year term, President-elect also one year before assuming her presidency, whereas Treasurer-elect and the regional reps. each serve a three-year term. We appreciate all the candidates who ran for office this year. Congratulations to all the newly elected OSPA leaders, and best wishes to all other members of the executive board for a successful year.
